Mount of Olives is used by Jews as a cemetery for so many years. Jews always want to be buried in the mountain. It is estimated to have nearly 150,000 graves. It is believed by christians that God will begin to redeem the dead at the end of days. Mount of Olives was named so because of the remnants of the olive groves on its western slope facing Jerusalem.
