Le Mont-Saint-Michel is a rocky cone-shaped islet in northwestern France. It has Benedictine Abbey and steepled church in it. The Mont is connected to the mainland by a bridge. I t is a tidal island. i.e the bridge is covered by the sea at high tide and revealed at low tide.
Mont Saint-Michel was built in a strong rock that measures 84 meters height. It is pure granite and is so hard that has resisted the passage of time.
